That’s right, as promised Patch 1.1 is now here that addressed quite a few issues and also brings the 64-bit .exe file and the Linux Dedicated Server to you! For the entire patch notes please see below. The patch does not need to be installed if you either have Crysis Wars purchased via Steam or if you have the automatic patch downloader activated.


Patch Notes
Fixes:

Fixed: Stand/Prone firing exploit by exaggerating spread of all weapons when transitioning
from standing position to prone position

Fixed: Inconsistency between the HUD score and the score shown in the scoreboard

Fixed: Disconnection caused by cheat protection for levels saved by the map downloader
Improvements:

Improved: Player icon, cross hair and round start messages visibility against bright backgrounds
Updates:

Removal of online activation (ReleaseControl)

Support of Linux server

The development team took the feedback from the community and created a priority list what definitely needs to go into that patch. Lots of bug fixes have been done as well as gameplay improvements and more balancing to weapons and vehicles. So please take the time to update your game to the latest version.


Do I need to have patch 1 installed before?
No, that is not needed. If you have installed Crysis Wars recently you just download patch 2 since it includes all changes from the former patch as well.

If you have Crysis Wars already updated to patch 1, then the patch 2 installation will work without any problems as well.

Fixed: '\'' in level names in levelrotation.xml will now work

Fixed: Incorrect weapon recoil after zooming

Fixed: Claymore mines sometimes did not detect enemy players

Fixed: Reloading and shooting with the AY-69 will not cause a second reload animation anymore

New Map
With this patch a new map arrives in the form of Ruins. This map is set in a church ruins environment and invites players to fight both inside and outside of the church itself. Below you can find screenshots and a flythrouh video.
